The Working World of a Sex and Relationship Therapist.
By Juliet Grayson

J uliet and I have more than one thing in common. In addition to both being couples therapists, we share the same writing teacher, Barbara Turner-Vesselago.

Juliet wrote much of this volume in Barbara’s week-long writing workshops. This illustrates how the Freefall writing process is applicable to non-fiction as much as to fiction.

Grayson takes us inside her therapy room, to share with the reader the transformation experienced by her clients.

In my work, I emphasise differentiation, which allows both partners to be themselves. I speak about differentiation in many Relationship Insights, including Make your Relationship Garden Thrive Grayson too, discusses differentiation, especially in relation to the conflicting drives of autonomy/individuality and intimacy/connectedness.

For therapists, this book introduces the practical application of the Pesso Boyden System Psychomotor (PBSP), of which she is a pioneer in the UK.
